Thomas J. Laccetti, AIA

Mr. Laccetti has over 31 years experience and has designed and managed over 8.5 million square feet of Industrial, Commercial and Residential type Architectural Projects. First and foremost, Tom believes in high quality service to his clients; solving problems, and using a common sense approach to design – a balanced blend of function, aesthetics, and cost. His dedication to the profession has inspired him to serve two terms on the board of directors for The Atlanta Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.In 1999 Tom revived the AIA Young Architects Forum  and served as its President, which later won the National Chapter of the Year Award under his leadership. He has also served as a Professional Director for The Construction Specifications Institute and is now currently serving as a Director for The Architecture Foundation of Georgia. Prior to starting Appleby + Laccetti Architects, Inc. Tom has worked for some notable Atlanta Architectural firms including Macgregor Associates Architects, Wakefield Beasley and Associates, The Facility Group, Frank Betz Associates and W.D. Farmer Residential Designer, Inc.
While working with these firms, Tom has worked with and delivered Architectural designs for many well known Industrial and Retail clients including; Ampacet, CarQuest, Caterpillar, Daehan, Havertys, Jewel, Kroger, Makita, Manhattan Bagel, Marshalls, Michael’s, Old Navy, Quality Foods, Russell Stover Candies, T.J. Maxx, Tyco/Kendall, and UPS. He has also designed homes throughout the country from Wyoming to Georgia and Texas to South Carolina including resorts such as Big Canoe, Hilton Head Island, Lake Hartwell, Lake Lanier and Reynolds Plantation to name a few. In 1989 Tom graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering Technology and is a registered Architect in the State of Georgia.
